Janet Raftery has joined Truckee Home staging as an Associate Designer in 2017. She is an active member of ASID and is Feng Shui certified.
Truckee Home Staging and Redesign (THSR) was started in 2007 in Truckee CA. THSR has expanded to the North Lake Tahoe from Meeks Bay, Tahoe City, Kings Beach and Incline Village. Truckee area Including Squaw Valley, Alpine Meadows, Northstar, Lahontan, Martis Camp, Gray’s Crossing, Tahoe Donner, Donner Lake – and now staging in Reno.
Becky retired from her career as a Recruiter/Staffing Manager working in Silicon Valley to live in Truckee, CA for 10 years and recently moved to Northwest Reno.
During her career she helped staff new companies such as Cisco, Silicon Graphics, Ascend Communications, Network Appliance, Brocade Communications, and most recently worked for Google (before they went public).
During her 20 years in staffing, Becky and her husband also flipped houses. They bought, remodeled, repainted, and repaired houses for resale. During this time Becky found her passion for home design and preparing homes for sale. Her passion is creating the design and implementation as well as the satisfaction and the reward of a house being sold quickly and selling for list price or over list.
Janet has over 15 years of design experience in residential design, visual display and merchandising. She is passionate about interior design, re-design and creating environments which incorporate the principles of Feng Shui. Janet is an active member of the ASID Peninsula chapter (American Society of Interior Designers).
